Lubeze Drill Chill is a ready-to-use cutting oil that provides maximum lubrication and helps prolong tool life. It is fortified with sulfur and an extreme pressure additive. It is excellent for general and severe machining operations on hard metals such as stainless steel and carbon steels as well as on soft metals such as aluminum. It is ideal for low-speed operations that require high physical lubricity, including broaching, drilling, lathing, milling, tapping and gear-cutting. In addition to eliminating heat at its source to ensure clean, smooth cuts, the lubricant also acts as a coolant in the metalworking process. It clings to surfaces and resists run-off and breakdown. It leaves a temporary, rust-inhibiting coating on tools and freshly-cut metal surfaces. The product is also available in liquid form.
